1. Active Families

An Active Family represents an enrolled participant with at least one valid recording within the last 45 days, or a new participant enrolled within the last 45 days without a recording.  Because frequent feedback is vital to the success of your program, the goal is high.

Goal: 80% of enrolled families have completed a recording in the past 45 days

2. Valid Recordings

Valid Recordings are recordings that are long enough to represent a full day of the child's language environment, generating percentiles for words and turns. This measure is current, not cumulative.

Goal: 94% of recordings submitted in the last 100 days are valid

3. Families Increasing Turns

Families Increasing Turns are active families who are producing more conversational turns in their recent recordings than they did on their first recording.

This measure counts only families who have submitted at least four valid, non-hidden recordings. For each eligible family, we average the data underlying the Turns PCTL for their most recent three valid recordings, and compare that average against the same information from their first valid recording. If the current average is higher than the first recording, the family is increasing turns.

GOAL = 50% of active families with 4+ recordings are increasing turns
